Getting There

Bakewell is situated in the heart of the Peak District on the A6 between Matlock and Buxton, and is easily accessible by car. Express rail services operate to Chesterfield, and local services operate between Matlock and Derby and between Buxton and Manchester. Coaches operate from the major cities and bus services operate from all local towns. The area is also well served by B&Bs, Hotels and Pubs.
