Workshops in the Town Hall
The dance workshops will be held in the upstairs room of the Town Hall. As always, we have chosen some fabulous dance teachers. All are welcome from beginners to experienced dancers. Just turn up on the day or book ahead by emailing Jude: jude.brown4@live.co.uk

West Coast Swing with Dance Card Events. West Coast Swing is a smooth, stylish partner dance, danced to everything from blues and soul to modern pop music, making it fun, relaxed and surprisingly easy to fall in love with. Known for it’s creativity and connection, it’s a dance that welcomes complete beginners while giving experienced dancers endless room to play and improvise. Dawn who wholeheartedly enjoys sharing dance and bringing people together through community events will teach some of the basic moves in a friendly welcoming session where everyone can feel comfortable getting up and having a go.

Argentinian Tango with Tango in the Peak A fantastic opportunity to learn some basic tango moves from two beautiful dancers, Lucas, from Argentina and Melanie his partner. Their enjoyable teaching style and passion for this dance will make you fall instantly in love with this elegant dance. Join them later for their mini performance outdoors and another opportunity to put your new moves to the test on the dance floor. No partner needed.

Clog Dancing with Dukes Dandy Duke's Dandy are offering a taster step clog workshop aimed predominantly at beginners, though other levels can be accommodated. Wear hard soled shoes, preferably not trainers, or bring wooden soled clogs if you have them. A few pairs may be available to borrow for the duration of the workshop subject to availability. This workshop will be to live music.
